I shall be lag and say this a day after I should have: ITS OVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Promos have finally come to a close,and i'm damn glad about it... Burn books till its monday la! Dang that is when we gonna get right back into it,thanks to PW and CL... But oh well at least it should be much relaxed as compared to the usual study schedules....
The reason it took me a day to post this was because I wasn't at home last night. Me and alvin went over to kenneth's house to have a gamefest,to be more specific a Halo3-fest haha... Me and ken went to my house straight after school so that I could pack that 5kg Xbox 360 backpack of mine... Brought only one game with me,Halo3,cuz i know pretty damned well that it will end up being the only game we play in the first place lols.... When we first arrived it was past 8 already. We started off by watching GI JOE on the com first,cuz kenneth's grandma watches TV until 10. The movie was okay,I like the fact that it is super high-tech,but it was too much of a combination between transformers and star wars la.... Shows the lack of director creativity lols,but it was good nonetheless...
Once the movie was over we rushed for the TV. We quickly set up all the cables and plugged them into the TV,but then the stupid TV refuses to produce any images. We were seriously damn pissed,even more for me since i was the one who had to carry that friggin pack all the way to his house. Luckily the images miraculously started appearing,and being hyped about it,we kick started what would end up to be an 8-hour almost non-stop blast.
We spammed a mix of campaign and split screen gameplays. Unfortunately I only have two controllers,so we had to take turns.We settled the campaign mission that I've been creeping away from for so long,cuz the mission was seriously damn scary,its spawns Flood everywhere. But we finally took it down on Cooperation mode,so it was all good.
The multiplayer was the real highlight of the night. We played rocket launcher slayer matches,where I took a mongoose to terrorize both of them with my flawless acrobatic stunts,jumping right on top of them and blasting their head off haha.... Another game modes saw me pawning both of them again,with a sly mix of grenade throwing skills,a shotgun and sometimes a Ghost.
We were just having so much fun that we din stop till 7am in the morning. By then we were totally wasted and we slumped into explosive-filled dreams for the next 3 hours. We woke up after that and discussed the matches we had till 12,and went over to yew tee point for lunch at LJS. We came across julia and wan kei and we had a nice chat all the way till the mrt carriage. So nice to know that the two are still together after 3 years and counting... Hope i'll get my chance like that someday...
Well that is all there is for the past heck of a day. It was really great and hopefully there are more gamefest to follow after this. Halo3 is great for multiplayer and we should really exploit it haha. Would be great if there are additional controllers though. Ok still damn tired gotta sleep byes.
