Hey guys,I have reason to believe that I've kind of chilled already. Well with the exception of one of course. Anyway maybe I'll just give an updated of the past bunch of days...
Saturday: Had to wake up kinda early to go school for service learning workshop, supposedly designated for me and abhi to go but oh wells since when did he participate in these workshops,i'm the only consistent one. Leaving that aside, woke up at 630,washed up went for a mac breakfast. I know I said that I'm scared of mac already, but it doesn't apply to breakfast since I haven't eaten it in awhile. reached school on the dot at 8am. The facils are from a non-profit group known as trybe, who have been helping many youths in Singapore to become better student leaders. I must say I have learnt a fair deal from the workshop. Guess I'll have to read up again to remember what was mentioned, think I forgot already.... Lols. Oh yes dorothy went with me in place of abhi,ya.
We were supposed to end at 5,but some sort of unexpected bonus came and we got to leave at 3. By then everyone was just shacked, there were activities and tasks that require brain juice you see. Everyone just wanted to go home, but this bonus can at a damn apt time for me. I had been yearning to go for it but knew I couldn't thanks to the packed weekend I have. Now I have the chance,of course I rushed for it! Its none other then the xbox 360 gamefest at vivocity! I knew I just had to go,Just listening to the new titles releasing and out on field testing had me drooling. Biggest of them all was forza motorsport 3,the super realistic car simulator like no other. However its too real for me,the cars are freaking hard to control with joysticks, really need the steering wheel, costs $129 though. Dad? A hint for you?
Anyway the other game that I enjoyed playing there was Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Arising. This one is good,I would say on par with the incoming Modern Warfare 2. Now I'm just waiting for MW2 to come out so that I can decide which one I want to buy, definitely either one of them, nothing less. I think Halo3: ODST just plain sucks. its like some bad copy from some other game producer trying to emulate Halo3's success. No energy just plain stinks already, and there is this visor mode which shows objects in red green and yellow. So what is the point of playing when you can see the enemy coming from a mile away without scoping? I'd just stick to Halo3,thank you very much.
Sunday: Sorry I get super carried away with games and football in case you haven't notice. Anyway this is the big day for me,both in the afternoon and at night. Afternoon was because the class is coming over to my father's office to wash his 5 trucks in return for $200 he is contributing to our fund-raising project. I was downright determined not to screw this up,feel that this is the best test and gauge of how the class would respond to tasks allocated to them,as well as to see whether I'm able to gain the respect of the class to even follow me on some simple order. I just couldn't convince myself still that I'm really accepted in the class,so ya this was a good opportunity.
And everything turned out great! Initially we were stumped, but that must be cause I wasn't there(shameless... -.-),went to fetch Nathanael who stopped a bus stop earlier. After that we gained momentum and I think we really purred like F1 V8 engines yesterday. We moved and we did great. Well with the exception of some. Mind you I didn't point these people, out my parents did. These people(includes boys and gals) were apparently moving from place to place, trying to do something here and there but were generally stationary. Maybe you guys know(I'm sure you do.),but I shall not point them out here. Anyway the workhorses were identified as well(my parents are not unreasonable people okay),and neither would I mention them here, because that would be just plain biased. Kudos to the rest of the class for their efforts. Cheers!
Anyway by the time I post this,LIVERPOOL WON MANCHESTER "NOOB" UNITED 2-0! Haha too bad devil boys, the angels just swept you off your feet real badly. We're back in the game! And nothing is gonna stop our renaissance from here. You'll never walk alone!
Dedication: Starstruck by Lady Gaga. Love the starting part, and the rest of the song just makes you wanna mooooooovveeee. I'm just partying from the win right now,and this song is perfect for it. It's in my playlist,so enjoy!
"Triple X" Jackson out.
